AdamWorks is a small, veteran-owned engineering and manufacturing company. Established in 2007 and located in Centennial, Colorado, AdamWorks has grown from a start-up of two, to a profitable business employing over 30 people and expanding rapidly.

Management Team


Kim Madigan, CEO

Kim Madigan is Chief Executive Officer of AdamWorks. She founded the Company in 2007, leading the company since its inception to the profitable business it is today.

Prior to founding AdamWorks, Ms. Madigan worked for fifteen years in management and mergers and acquisitions in multiple industries for both public and private companies, ranging in size from start-up to Fortune 500, including Limited Brands, Apertus Technologies, NEON and Adam Aircraft. Her career embraces extensive experience recruiting and managing teams in high growth environments, attracting top talent in to each of the companies and industries in which she has worked.

Ms. Madigan holds a BA in Psychology from DePauw University and an MBA from the University of Colorado, Denver.

 

Dennis Olcott, Senior VP and Chief Engineer

Dr. Dennis Olcott serves as the SVP, Chief Engineer of AdamWorks, responsible for managing and delivering the technical solutions of the Company.

Dennis has twenty years of experience in new product development, production support engineering, and program management, having worked at Cirrus Design Corporation, Lancair (Cessna), Scaled Composites and Adam Aircraft.

Most recently, Dennis served as Vice President of Engineering at Piper Aircraft, with responsibility for new product development, aircraft certification, flight test, and production support engineering. He has managed engineering teams of over 100 and is a specialist in composite structures design and certification.

Dr. Olcott holds a Bachelor of Science and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University.

Scot Allen, COO

Scot Allen is the Chief Operating Officer for AdamWorks, responsible for all of the company's manufacturing operations and customer deliveries.

Scot began his career at General Electric, and later ABB Group, gaining increasing responsibility in operations management at both companies. Prior to AdamWorks, Scot was Vice President of Manufacturing for Brunswick Corp, Hatteras Yachts and Adam Aircraft. At Hatteras, Scot was responsible for all aspects of the manufacturing operation from supply management, production, quality, managing delivery and support of eight product lines and $180 million in revenue.

Scot has a Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy, West Point and a Masters of Manufacturing Leadership from Cambridge University.

 

Jan D'Angelo, VP of Business Development

Jan D'Angelo is the Vice President of Business Development for AdamWorks, responsible for the company's continued growth, expansion into new markets, and company communication. He also serves as the company's primary customer liaison.

Mr. D'Angelo has more than 20 years of business development experience in the manufacturing and financial services industries. He began his career in the insurance business, responsible for growing regional operations of insurance companies and brokers Arthur J. Gallagher & Co and MARSH, with a focus in aerospace insurance. Jan joined Adam Aircraft as Vice President of Sales early in development and grew the order book to approximately $1 billion during his eight-year tenure. He also played a pivotal role in establishing aircraft manufacturer AAI Acquisition, Inc.

Prior to joining AdamWorks, Mr. D'Angelo was Vice President/Regional Manager of Chartis Aerospace in Chicago, Illinois, where he managed a portfolio of product liability insurance for leading aerospace manufacturers.

Jan has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Vermont and is a private pilot.
